Healing Bonds strives to make therapy affordable.  We acknowledge that health care is expensive and we consider mental health care an investment for not only your emotional well-being, but your physical well-being.  Our private pay fee structure was carefully considered to offer several choices in pricing, experience, and location.  We have carefully structured our private pay rates to be similar to what your insurance may require you to pay through a cost-share to make therapy affordable for those who choose to use insurance, and for those that do not.  Learn more about insurance and therapy here.

Rates

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist/Supervisor:  $160/initial session and $120/session thereafter. 

Licensed therapists are also in network with most major insurances:  BCBS TN; Aetna, Optum, United Healthcare.  Check with your insurance plan to see what mental health benefits are in your plan.  Payments of copay, deductible, or private pay amounts are due at the time of service.

Currently, Beth Houle, LMFT (Cleveland office) and Jennifer Weller, LMFT (Chattanooga office) are the only therapists at Healing Bonds Cleveland accepting insurance.  

License (pending) Marriage and Family Therapist:  $160/initial session and $120/session thereafter

Courtney Liljekvist has recently obtained all the requirements for her full licensure status and is waiting for her full license to be issued from the board.  Once this happens she will beginning the process of getting credentialed with insurance companies (Estimated date Spring/Summer 2024).  Some insurance companies will pay for out-of-network therapy.  We will be happy to give you a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement if your insurance is out of network.  Payment or non-payment for out of network coverage is strictly between you and your insurance company.  For in-network plans, payments of copays and deductibles are due at the time of service.    

Resident Therapist Chattanooga:  $100/initial session and $75/session thereafter.

Resident Therapist Cleveland:  $100/initial session and $85/session thereafter.

Resident Therapists have temporary licenses issued by the state of Tennessee and work under supervision of a supervisor while they are working on full licensure.  Resident therapists are able to accept Aetna and Cigna insurance while under supervision.   Other insurance companies may pay for out-of-network therapy.  We will be happy to give you a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement if your therapist is out of network with your insurance.  Payment or non-payment for out of network coverage is strictly between you and your insurance company.  Payment is due at the time of service.

Currently, Bailey Spradling (Chattanooga Office), Patrick Nelson (Chattanooga Office), Alicia Boggess (Cleveland Office), and Lara Kate Todd (Cleveland Office), Maddie Storz (Cleveland office), Crystal Fawley (Cleveland and Chattanooga office) are Resident Therapists.
